Arlene Lillian Rosenquist

Arlene L. Rosenquist, 89, of Dayton, Iowa, and formerly of Burnside, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at UnityPoint – Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Burnside. Rev. Julian Swanson will officiate. Burial will be in the Dayton Cemetery. Arlene Lillian Rosenquist was born on May 21, 1932, west of Burnside, Iowa, the daughter of Reuben and Lillie (Bergman) Rosenquist. She attended Burnside schools. In 1965, she moved into Burnside. Arlene served as the custodian for Immanuel Lutheran Church in Burnside for many years.

Arlene belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Burnside where she was active in W.E.L.C.A, sang in the choir, and was involved in many other church functions. She enjoyed flowers, feeding the birds, and latch hook. Arlene loved visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Fern Rosenquist of Lowry Crossing, Texas, and Mary Rosenquist of Tulsa, Oklahoma; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Leland Rosenquist, Dwayne Rosenquist, and Gerald (Marcia) Rosenquist, and her sister, Norma (Jim) O’Brion.
