Arlys Krueger

Arlys Krueger, 70, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at her home.

Arlys was born on June 16, 1946, in Glencoe, MN, the daughter of Edwin & Anna Marie (Freese) Oelke.

She attended school in Lester Prairie, MN. On July 2, 1966, Arlys was united in marriage to Virgil Krueger in Lester Prairie.

In 1974 they moved to Ogden. She was the owner and operator of Krueger's Kitchen for many years. Arlys loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She enjoyed playing cards and visiting the casinos.

She is survived by her husband, Virgil of Ogden, Iowa; two sons, Mitchell (Kari) Krueger of Manson, Iowa, Charles (Misty) Krueger of Ames, Iowa, and one daughter, Stacy (Gary) Lewis of Boone, Iowa; eight grandchildren Nathan, Becca, Chris, Josh, Ryan (Beth), Joe (Kelsey), Mackenzie, Jake; three great grandchildren Coldon, Logan and Chloey; sister Doris (Clarence) Kosek and brother Larry Oelke both of Minnesota; and many nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Mavis Heimkes
