Bob Shadle

Bob Shadle, 78, of Beaver, Iowa, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Bobby Gene Shadle was born on November 9, 1939, the son of William and Charlotte Shadle. Bob attended schools in Beaver later graduating with the Grand Junction High School class of 1958.

Bob was employed by Harris T.V. in Ames for many years, worked as an over the road truck driver, and had his own television repair shop in Boone for several years. He later worked at Travis Audio in Des Moines, retiring in 2005.

In retirement Bob enjoyed his time as crossing guard for Boone Schools and recently received an award for 10+ years of service. He also served as the minister for the Beaver Church of the Brethren.

Survivors include his son, Tom (Sarah) Shadle of Ely, Iowa, daughter, Bobbi Madison of Henderson, Nevada; four grandchildren; Skyler and Cloe Madison, and Courtney and Thomas "TJ" Shadle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Billy Shadle.
