Brian Edward Tolle

Brian E. Tolle, 68, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the Boone County Hospital in Boone, Iowa.

A memorial service for Brian will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Church of Christ in Jefferson, Iowa, with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Matt Glawe will officiate. Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden has been entrusted with arrangements.

Brian Edward Tolle, son of Edward and Beverly (Dent) Tolle was born on May 8, 1956, in Harlan, Iowa. He graduated from Irwin Kirkman Community High School with the class of 1974.

On March 5, 1976, Brian was united in marriage to Theresa Kauffman at the Redline Church of Christ. The couple had three children, Jenifer, Nathan, and Heather before they later divorced.

On September 4, 1999, Brian was united in marriage to Linda Kay Reighard at Iowa Arboretum & Gardens in Madrid, Iowa. The couple made their home in Ogden and Linda became the bonus mother to Brian’s three children.

Brian’s main vocation was as a truck driver. He worked for several companies before becoming an owner/operator. Due to his declining health, he stopped his over the road routes and began working for Kuehl Brothers in Woodward until he retired due to his failing health.

He was a member of the Church of Christ in Jefferson. Brian loved his family, dogs, and his faith. He could keep you updated on the latest news topics and tech gadgets. His main vocation allowed him the freedom to experience one of his other loves - the open road. His most valued times were with his family.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife of over 25 years, Linda Tolle of Ogden; his three children, Jenifer (Keith) Hill of Council Bluffs, IA; Nathan (Ashley) Tolle of Omaha, NE; and Heather (Brandon) Williams of Council Bluffs, IA; seven grandchildren, Terrance, Abigail, Jon, Melissa, Amerah, Storm, and Jesse; two great grandchildren, Macklin and Oakley; his sister, Brenda (Kevin) Fries of Harlan, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
