Clarice D. Lundberg, 89, of Dayton, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone.
A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dayton. Rev. Rod Meyer will officiate. Burial will be at the Dayton Cemetery. Clarice Delores Selander was born on February 1, 1933, in Gowrie, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Myrtle (Mars) Selander. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Gowrie. Clarice graduated with the Harcourt High School class of 1950.
On April 17, 1954, Clarice was united in marriage to Gordon Lundberg at Zion Lutheran Church in Gowrie. The couple lived in Dayton where Gordon & Clarice owned & operated Lundberg Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling.
Clarice was a longtime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, camping, flower gardening, and especially loved watching the birds and other wildlife that would visit their backyard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gordon Lundberg on March 5, 2020, her sister, Iola Block, and brother, Kenneth Selander.
Survivors include her children, Doug (Becky) Lundberg of West Des Moines, IA, Denise (Randy) Lehman of Paton, IA, Diane (Scott) Engquist of Harcourt, IA, and David (Laura) Lundberg of St. Peters, MO; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, Nicholas (Lindy) Lehman, parents of Parker and Mason Lehman, Phillip (Ann) Lundberg, parents of Samuel Lundberg, Miah Barron, Tatum Lundberg, Malena Lundberg and Amisha Barron, Lisa (Adam) Ebersole, parents of Gabe and Makenna Ebersole, Amanda (Jereon) Lundberg, Alexander (Hannah) Engquist, parents of Arthur Engquist, Thomas Engquist (fiancé Sarah Roemer), Matthew (Katie) Lundberg, and Cameron Lundberg; her sister, Marvel Peters of Des Moines, IA; two sisters-in-law, Barb Selander of Fort Dodge, IA, and Donna Lundberg of Arkansas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
