D. Irene Trask

D. Irene Trask, 80, of Lehigh, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Lehigh. Rev. Dennis Shepherd will officiate. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh. Visitation will be Friday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton.

Doris Irene Lee was born on July 4, 1930, in Lehigh, Iowa, the daughter of Ed and Margaret (Carpenter) Lee.

On October 18, 1947, Irene was united in marriage to Kenneth "Jack" Trask in Webster City. To this union three children were born: June, Carl, and Joann.

Irene belonged to the United Methodist Church in Lehigh. She had a great love for her family which was her pride and joy.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Trask of Lehigh; three children, June (Ruth) Trask of Bloomington, Minnesota, Carl (Helen) Trask of Ankeny, Iowa, and Joann (Elvin) Klein of Dayton, Iowa; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; eight sisters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother in infancy, Kenneth.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
