Darlene Sego, 68, of Pilot Mound, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Accura of Ogden.

Darlene Avis Riley was born on August 26, 1948, in Perry, Iowa, the daughter of Otto and Gladys (Conrad) Riley.
On August 20, 1966, Darlene was united in marriage to Dan Sego in Omaha, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with five children, Roger, Terry, DeAnna, Bill, and Angie. The couple lived in Boone County their entire lives where Dar was a homemaker, the town babysitter, and also tended bar at the Bluff Creek Saloon in Pilot Mound.
Dar enjoyed reading, crafts, camping in her younger years, and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Roger (Lisa) Sego of Lohrville, Iowa, DeAnna (Mark) Zinnel of Boone, Iowa, Bill (Lacy) Sego of Canton, Illinois, and Angie Betts of Boxholm, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Riley of Beatrice, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dan in 2001, son, Terry Sego in 2009, three sisters, Mary Anderson, Jane Koenig, Florence Peterson, and a great grandson Sebastian Davidson.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
