Dave J. Heck

Dave J. Heck, 68, of Gowrie, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 25, 2015, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.

David Jeffries Heck was born on April 6, 1947, the son of Sheldon and Irma (Black) Heck in Des Moines, Iowa. Dave graduated with the Central Webster High School class of 1965. In 1968, he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country during Vietnam. Dave was raised and lived his entire life in the Lehigh and Dayton area where he was self employed in the electrical and refrigeration business.

In 1968, Dave married his first wife and they later divorced. To this union three children were born: Jeff, Jim, and Jodie.

On April 6, 2013, Dave was united in marriage to Rhonda Radloff.

Dave was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Burnside. He enjoyed fishing and his two furry friends, Squeeks and Mollie.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Heck of Gowrie, Iowa; two sons, Jeff Heck of Dayton, Iowa; and Jim Heck of Overland Park, Kansas; and one daughter, Jodie Heck of Ames, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
