Donald Kopp

Don E. Kopp, 79, of Dayton, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the Boone County Hospital.

Donald Eugene Kopp was born on August 31, 1938, in Dayton, Iowa, the son of Stanley and Olga (Allen) Kopp. He graduated with the Stratford High School class of 1956. Don served his Country in the United States Air Force from December of 1960 until his honorable discharge in December of 1964.

On October 18, 1969, Don was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Pigman. Don worked in road construction for many years and later worked in building maintenance at Iowa State University for 25 years.

Don was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening, photography, and mushroom hunting with Pat.

Survivors include two brothers, Duane Kopp of Boone, Iowa, and Darwin Kopp of Orlando, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, wife, Pat Kopp, two brothers, Earl Kopp and Bernard Kopp, and one sister, Dorothy Fuqua preceded him in death.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
