Edward Frazier

Edward M. Frazier, 47, of Gowrie, Iowa, and formerly of Westminster, California, died Saturday, January 14, 2012, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Harcourt.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2012, at Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton. Pastor Marc Murchison will officiate. Burial will be in the Dayton Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Edward Mahlon Frazier was born on February 28, 1964, in Westminster, California, the son of Roger and Laura (Riley) Frazier. He attended schools in Westminster through the 11th grade. Following his education, Ed worked at LaHabra Products for over 25 years. He also worked at his brother's business, Commodore Pool Tables in Santa Ana, California, where Roger and Ed manufactured custom pool tables. In 2006, Ed moved to Lanyon, Iowa, and later that year purchased a home in Gowrie. While in Iowa, Ed worked with his brother, Ron at Frazier Flooring.

Ed's hobbies included woodworking, collecting coins and marbles, and building & racing remote control cars. He especially enjoyed fishing with his son, Jeff.

Survivors include his son, Jeff Frazier of Mesquite, Nevada; Jeff's mother, Lori Dahmen of Mesquite, Nevada; father, Roger Frazier Sr. (Merrilee) of Lanyon, Iowa; mother, Laura (John) Riggins of Westminster, California; four brothers, Roger Frazier Jr. (Belinda) of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Ron (Suzanne) Frazier of Dayton, Iowa, Chris (Vikki) Frazier of Dayton, Iowa, and Michael Frazier of Lanyon, Iowa; two sisters, Michelle Otero and Sheri Frazier both of California; half sister, Genette Camper of California; his grandmother, Alverna Riley of California; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
