Gary "Pete" Jepsen

Gary “Pete” Jepsen, 83, of Boxholm, Iowa, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

In honor of Gary’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.

Gary Lee Jepsen, son of Walter and Meta (Maack) Jepsen was born on July 7, 1940, in Deloit, Iowa. He received his education from Knierim and Barnum Schools, graduating in 1959. Following his education, Gary worked at New Idea Machining for several years, and then Bush Hog prior to working at Electrolux where he worked until his retirement.

Gary enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, and was an avid bird watcher. He had resided in Boxholm since 1976.

In addition to his parents, Gary was also preceded in death by his sister, Leola Snives; four brothers, Don, Wayne, Robert, and brother in infancy, Gene Jepsen.

Survivors include his four daughters, Kimberly (Bob) Pepin of Menlo, IA; Trisha (Mario) Mendez of Boone, IA; Charlene Schiller of Boxholm, IA; and Audrey Jepsen of Casey, IA; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
