Georganne "Anne" Claude

Anne M. Claude, 68, of Woolstock, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Church of Christ in Webster City. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2015, at the Church of Christ. Georganne Mae Scott was born on October 27, 1946, in Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of George and Maebelle (Blair) Scott. She was baptized at the Church of Christ in Webster City. Anne graduated with the Webster City High School class of 1965.

On June 19, 1965, Anne was united in marriage to Caroll Claude at the Church of Christ. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters: Elaine and Rochelle.

Anne and Caroll lived in Eldridge, Iowa, and later Pekin, Illinois, where she worked as a department manager at J.C. Penney's. In October of 1998, the couple retired and built their current home in Woolstock.

Anne enjoyed traveling, flower gardening, spending time with family and friends, and was famous for her baked cookies. She had served as Secretary of the French Club and also served on the Board of the Wright County Museum in Clarion.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Caroll Claude of Woolstock, Iowa; two daughters, Elaine Claude of Solon, Iowa, and Rochelle Claude Kotar and her husband Brad of Solon, Iowa; four grandchildren, Macie, Neva, Coltin, and Nash; her twin sister, Jean (Mike) Raske of Radcliffe, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Gil Welch of Duncombe, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, and one sister, Sharon Welch, preceded her in death.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
