James Teed, 33, of Dayton, Iowa, passed away on Saturday evening, December 29, 2012, as the result of a snowmobile accident near Harcourt.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boxholm. Rev. Rod Meyer will officiate. Burial will be at Lawn Cemetery in Boxholm. James Adam Teed was born on April 10, 1979, in Jefferson, Iowa, the son of George and Nadine (Zollars) Teed.
James graduated with the Ogden High School class of 1997. Following his education, James worked at Ag-Serv in Ogden for several years. He was currently employed by West Central Cooperative in Boxholm.
James was a proud member of the Boxholm Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed snowmobiling, riding horseback, camping, and fishing.
Among the survivors are his wife, Carley Seeman of Dayton, Iowa; parents, George and Nadine Teed of Paton, Iowa; his brother, Mickey (Erica) Teed of Jefferson, Iowa; three nieces, Izabell, Shianne, and Mersadys; grandmother, Helen Zollars of Jefferson, Iowa; and his beloved dogs, Bo and Amy. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Claire Zollars, and George and Mary Lou Teed.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of his family.
