Jerry Linn, 85, of Lehigh, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.
Jerry's wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life and luncheon will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Lehigh Sr. Citizens Center. For online obituaries and condolences please visit: www.carsonstappfuneralhome.com
Jerry Jay Linn was born on November 25, 1930, in Dayton, Iowa, the son of Leslie and Elsie (Dutcher) Linn. He was a graduate of the Dayton High School.
Jerry married Nadine Carlstadt in 1949, and the couple later divorced. Their marriage was blessed with one daughter, Denise.
In the mid 1950's Jerry served his country in the United States Army for two years. He was united in marriage to Rosie Lou Prine on June 15, 1957, in Fort Eustis, Virginia. The couple lived and worked in Boone, Iowa, for several years. Jerry and Rosie moved to Arizona in 1981, where Jerry was a real estate broker and owned and operated J & J Realty and Development until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rosella "Rosie" Linn of Lehigh, Iowa; one daughter, Denise (Don) Parsons of Sioux City, Iowa; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Gettinger of Dayton, Iowa, and Sharon Priest of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
