Jon Patrick Dorman

Jon P. Dorman, 60, of Webster City, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, April 11, 2025.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Lost Grove Cemetery in rural Harcourt, Iowa. Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton has been entrusted with arrangements. 

Jon Patrick Dorman, son of Jack and Esther (Wilber) Dorman was born on August 6, 1964, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from Central Webster High School in Burnside, Iowa. Following high school, he attended Huntington College in Huntington, Indiana where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in history. Jon’s main passion was world history.

Survivors include his father, Jack (Ardy) Dorman of Harcourt, IA; his brother, Randy Dorman of Belleville, KS; his sister, Belinda Dorman of Fort Dodge, IA; and several nephews.
