June Mumper, 63, of Lehigh, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

June Ellen Murray was born on June 6, 1951, in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Joyce (Heslop) Murray.

She graduated with the Central Webster High School class of 1969.

On August 20, 1969, June was united in marriage to Douglas Wayne Mumper at the Christian Church in Lehigh. To this union two children were born: Scott & Tracy.

The couple established their home in Lehigh where June was a loving wife, mother, and farmwife. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, fishing, and loved her dog.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Mumper of Lehigh, Iowa; son, Scott Mumper of Dayton, Iowa; daughter, Tracy (Ghassan) Abdelqader of Phoenix, Arizona; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; one brother; and one sister. Her parents preceded her in death.
