Karen A. Reutter, 67, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014, at the Boone County Hospital.

Karen Ann Lennon was born on May 13, 1946, in Duncombe, Iowa, the daughter of John Edward and Arlene Marie (Woodle) Lennon. Karen attended a one room country school in Hamilton County through the 6th grade, and went on to graduate with the Webster City High School class of 1964.
On June 3, 1967, Karen was united in marriage to Gene Reutter at St. John's Catholic Church in Duncombe. The couple lived and farmed in Grant Township near Boxholm for many years. Karen was employed by First American Bank in Dayton for 40 years, retiring in of 2004. Karen and Gene moved to Ogden in 2009.
Karen enjoyed sewing, the outdoors, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Reutter of Ogden, Iowa; two children, Cory Reutter of Boone, Iowa, and Lori Reutter of Ogden, Iowa; four grandchildren, Bailey, Megan, Jake, and Ryder; five sisters, Mary (Jim) Black of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Colleen (Brad) Koester of Duncombe, Iowa, Sue (Mike) Mulder of Iowa City, Iowa, Kelly (Rich) Ayers of Webster City, Iowa, and Kim Lennon of Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, John "Jackie" Lennon.
