Lee Matthew Kinsey

Lee M. Kinsey, 42, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at his home.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the United Methodist Church in Dayton with visitation one hour prior to services. Rev. Keith Putney will officiate. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date at the Dayton Cemetery. Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton is in charge of the arrangements.

Lee Matthew Kinsey was born on November 14, 1966, in Boulder, Colorado, the son of Dwight & Phyllis (Sandholm) Kinsey. As a youngster he moved with his family to Dayton where he attended local schools, graduating with the Dayton High School class of 1985. Lee went on to attend Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg, prior to moving to Denver, Colorado, where he lived for a few years. He later moved to Salt Lake City, where he was employed by Wright's Motorcycle Parts and Accessories.

Lee was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Dayton where he was confirmed in October of 1980. He will be remembered by all for the great smile that he always had when greeting family and friends.

Survivors include his companion, Angie Meik of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Leslie and Kylie Kinsey of Salt Lake City, Utah; his parents, Dwight and Phyllis Kinsey of Dayton Iowa; one sister, Linda (Bob) Moody of Denver, Colorado; and two brothers, Larry (Jill) Kinsey of Orlando, Florida, and Lance (Stacey) Kinsey of Johnston, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Bob Moody Jr., Courtney Moody, Katharine Kinsey, and Austin Kinsey; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials for Lee's daughters may be left in the care of his parents, Dwight and Phyllis Kinsey, 208 4th St. NE., Dayton, Iowa 50530.

Lee - you are loved, you will be missed but not forgotten.
