Lewis William Stahl

Lewis W. Stahl, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at his home in Ogden, Iowa.

Services will be held at a later date at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Olathe, Kansas. Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden has been entrusted with arrangements.

Lewis William Stahl, son of LeRoy and Frances (Mullen) Stahl was born on December 9, 1942 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Lewis was united in marriage to Esther Lucille Medlin on June 25, 1975, in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple lived in Olathe, Kansas, and in November of 1998 moved to Ogden, Iowa. Lewis worked for Union Pacific Railroad for many years until his retirement.

Survivors include his two sons, Douglas (Julie George) Young of Ogden; Dwight (Janet) Young of Lincoln City, Oregon; eight grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Lewis was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Esther Stahl; sons, Jimmy, Johnny, David and George Young.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
