Lloyd "Dave" Davison

Lloyd "Dave" Davison, 72, of Lehigh, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at the Stratford Nursing & Rehab Center.

Dave's wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Carson – Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton. Jane Berry will officiate. Lloyd David Davison was born on March 1, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Virginia (Bone) Davison. He graduated with the Fort Dodge Senior High School. Following his education, Dave served his county in the United States Air Force. Dave later joined the Ames Fire Department where worked for many years until retirement.

Dave become a resident of Lehigh, Iowa, in 1992 and enjoyed this life on the ranch.

Survivors include his best friend Sonya Bailey, of Lehigh, Iowa; one son, Mike Davison of Ames, Iowa; one daughter, Krista (Tony) Mullenger of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Gary (Pat) Davison Clear Lake, Iowa; and Richard (Patsy) Davison, of Sioux City, Iowa; four grandchildren, Zachary and Dylan Davison and Billy and Markus Mullenger; and several nieces and nephews. His parents, and one sister, Sandra Moore, preceded him in death.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
