Mark J. Knudtson, 54, of Dayton, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Fort Dodge Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mark James Knudtson was born on May 8, 1962, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Jack and Minnie (Dornath) Knudtson. He graduated with the Eagle Grove High School class of 1980.
In 1982, Mark was united in marriage to Glenda Murray. To this union two children were born: Brandy and Josh.
Mark was previously employed by the DeKalb Research Farm in Dayton and later owned & operated Knudtson Construction, until retiring due to ill health. He belonged to Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dayton. Mark loved dogs, hunting, and carpentry and woodworking projects.
Survivors include his daughter, Brandy (Scott) Little of Boone, Iowa; son, Josh (Jessica) Knudtson of Arlington, Washington; granddaughter, Kayla; his cat companion, Thomas; one brother, Paul (Deb) Knudtson of Thor, Iowa; and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
