Mary Wells

Mary Alma "Lee" Wells, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior while at Norwalk Nursing Home on May 25, 2013.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at the Christian Church in Lehigh. Pastors David MacKinnon & Pastor Richard Laird will officiate. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Carson – Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton. Born to Daniel and Margaret Lee on July 10, 1926 she was raised in the Lehigh- Webster City area. Mary graduated from the Lehigh school district in 1944. In 1947 she was united in marriage to George "Buddy" Wells and together they raised three children.

Mary loved making greeting, birthday and holiday cards for her family as well writing children's stories for her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many grand nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 45 years, "Buddy", sisters, Irene Trask, Daisy Nemechek, and Ginger Cusey, and Brother Fred Lee, 2 brother in-laws Lyle and Dale and 2 sister in-laws Karen and Nina, and one grandchild.

Mary is survived by one brother, Daniel Lee and four sisters, Virval (Dwayne) Widick, Audrey Beth (Wayne) Salgren, Jackie (Ray) Powers and Diann (Craig) Hansen. One Daughter, Linda Wells and two sons, Lee (Karen) Wells and Larry Wells, 6 grand children, 15 great grand children, and one brother-in-law, Jack Trask.
