Michael Alan Pritchard

Michael “Mike” Pritchard, 72, of Boone, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Michael Alan Pritchard, son of Neal and Eleanor (Annette) Pritchard was born on April 20, 1952, in San Diego, California.  He graduated from Willoughby South High School in Willoughby, Ohio with the class of 1970.  One of his accomplishments, was holding the 100 yard dash record for several years at Willoughby High School.  Following high school, Mike attended Lakeland Community College in Mentor, Ohio where he focused his studies in marketing.  Mike then enlisted in the United Sates Army Reserve until his honorable discharge.

Mike loved golfing.  He also loved to follow the Cleveland Browns and New York Yankees.  He also enjoyed trivia, crossword puzzles, movies, and was an avid reader.  Mike was a huge Beatles fan, especially John Lennon, and he could tell you anything about them.

In addition to his parents, Mike is also preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Pritchard; and great nephew, Noah Moore.

Survivors include his sister, Diana (Dennis) Grzelak of Scottsdale, AZ; his two brothers, Geoff Pritchard of Willoughby, OH, and Jon (Deb) Pritchard of Ogden, IA; four nephews, Gabe Moore, James Pritchard, Danny Pritchard and Brian Pritchard, and two nieces, Jessica Walters and Deidra Nietz.

Memorials may be directed to Jon Pritchard at 313 SW 7^th Street Place, Ogden, IA 50212 where proceeds will go toward an animal charity that was dear to Mike.
