Michael Scott Henson

Michael S. Henson, 67, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Michael Scott Henson, son of James and Patricia (Ramey) Henson was born on June 13, 1954 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended Boone High School and then entered the United States Navy. Following his discharge, Mike learned the trade of dry walling from his father, James. He continued in the trade for his entire career.

Mike married his high school sweetheart Anna Majors. The couple made their home in Ogden. He enjoyed playing his guitar, collecting civil war memorabilia and antiques.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Majors-Henson of Ogden; step daughter, Angelina Majors of Fort Dodge; three grandchildren, Blake, Jeffery, and Danielle; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Tony (Diane) Henson of Denver, CO; Nick (Donna) Henson of Des Moines; and two nieces and one nephew.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
