Albert Milton Cooper, 91, of Ogden, Iowa, passed on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Albert Milton Cooper was born on May 2, 1931, in Hawesville, Kentucky, the son of Albert Griffin and Grace Myrtle (Estes) Cooper. He received his education in Kentucky. Milton served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1954.
On September 16, 1950, Milton was united in marriage to Brownie Basham in Hawesville, Kentucky. They were blessed with four sons, David, James, Ray, and Jerry
Milton worked as a mechanic and truck driver for many years. Milton and Brownie put on and attended many craft shows and flea markets over the years. He belonged to Safe Harbor Christian Church in Pellville, Kentucky.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ray Cooper, three brothers, Richard Cooper, Rodney Cooper, and Bill Cooper, and his grandson, Darrin Cooper.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Brownie Cooper of Ogden, IA; three sons, David Cooper of Owensboro, KY, Jim Cooper of Ogden, IA, and Jerry (Laura) Cooper also of Ogden, IA; six grandchildren, Joe Cooper, Robert (Crista) Cooper, Michael Cooper (Dawn Shaffer), Dan Cooper, Skylur Cooper, and Jennifer Cooper; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Cooper, Jaden Cooper, Tricia Cooper, Cora Cooper, Kathryn Cooper, and Destani Shaffer; two sisters, Ethel (Jack) Hurley of Grand Junction, IA, and Lillian Herridge of Jefferson, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
