Nancy R. Bass

Nancy R. Bass, 63, of Harcourt, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Carson ~ Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton. Pastor Craig Vote will officiate. Nancy R. Bass was born on September 2, 1958, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Willie and Marilyn (Cartee) Bass. She lived in Harcourt with her husband, Tracy Phillips. She worked various jobs over the years including Opportunity Living in Rockwell City, and at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge.

Nancy loved animals, rock hunting, and was an amazing artist. Her imagination would flow on her artwork. She liked science, ghosts, and the supernatural.

Survivors include her husband, Tracy Phillips of Harcourt, Iowa; three sons, John (Shannon) Phillips of Rebecca, Georgia, Justin Phillips of Dayton, Iowa, and Jay (Cassie) Phillips of Fort Dodge, Iowa; four grandchildren, Lauren, Jaydyn, Lilly Marie, and Reece Phillips; and two brothers, Bill Bass and Bob (Heather) Bass all of Fort Dodge, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
