Nicholas "Nick" Kami Dodson

Nicholas “Nick” Dodson, 38, of Lehigh, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at UnityPoint ~ Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dayton. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 2, also at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Pastor Kay. Christie will officiate. Nicholas Kami Dodson was born on May 21, 1983, in Calcutta, India. He graduated with the Southeast Webster-Grand High School class of 2002, and furthered his education at DMACC in Ankeny.

Nick farmed in Webster and Boone County and also owned & operated Dodson Truck & Tractor in Dayton. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Van Dodson, sister in infancy, Melissa Dodson, and his cousin, Chase Dodson.

Survivors include his mother, Jan Dodson of Dayton, IA; sister, Katie Jo (Matthew) Pierce of Phoenix, AZ; nephews, Kaiden and Greyson Pierce; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
