Pat A. Stevens, 54, of Dayton, Iowa, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 20, 2009, at the Boone County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Burnside. Rev. Julian Swanson will officiate. Burial will be at Lawn Cemetery in Boxholm. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton.
Patricia Ann Foell was born on January 4, 1955, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of George and Rosemary (Saunders) Foell. She graduated with the Schaller High School class of 1973, and went on to attend College in Minneapolis, and later D.M.A.C.C. in Ankeny. On June 3, 1978, Pat was united in marriage to Roger Stevens at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dayton. Pat worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician for over 29 years at the Boone County Hospital.
Pat was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dayton where she was active in many church activities. She belonged to the Medical Technician's Association. Pat enjoyed camping with family and friends and spent many weekends at Don William's campground.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Stevens of Dayton, Iowa; son, Nathan (Sara) Stevens of Laramie, Wyoming; step children, Colette (Kevin) Collen of Garner, Iowa, and Lee (Heather) Stevens of Cheyenne, Wyoming; six grandchildren, April (Matt) Shean, Mysti (Al) Kuhlman, Adam Collen, Nicole Collen, Ty Stevens, and Tucker Stevens; four great grandchildren; two brothers, William (Laura) Foell of Schaller, Iowa, and Charles (Martina) Foell of Omaha, Nebraska; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Tom Foell.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
