Richard Ray Hover, 67, of Ogden died Friday May 22, 2015 at home. A private memorial will be held at Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden.
Richard was born December 24, 1947 to George & Gladys (Roberts) Hover in Kirksville, MO. The family moved to Montana in 1954. He graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science degree. He married Beverly Jean Mullins on June 21, 1969.
He drove bus for Intermountain Bus Lines and a long haul truck driver for Watkins/Shepard. In 1994 they moved to Douglas, WY, where he was employed driving truck at the coal mines. They have been an Ogden, IA residence since 1997. He was employed with Union Pacific Railroad as an engineer.
His survivors include: wife of 45 years, son Lyle (Samantha) Hover of Ogden, son Lance Hover of Ogden, daughter Larissa Hover (significant other Chris Goettsch) of Zearing, IA, son Lincoln Hover (significant other Mistie Casiano), mother Gladys Hover of Inverness, FL, brother Robert Hover of Port Huron, MI., ten grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his father, and brother Laniel Hover. Memorials may be directed to the family.
