Rozanne Fosenburg

Rozanne "Rosy" Fosenburg, 71, of Des Moines, Iowa, died Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held 11:00, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden. Rev. Gary Hoyt will officiate. Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden.

Rozanne M. Christensen was born on March 13, 1941, in Ogden, Iowa, the daughter of Loren and Mabel (Porter) Christensen. She graduated with the Ogden High School class of 1959. Rozanne was united in marriage to John E. Fosenburg Jr. on April 30, 1960, at the Community United Methodist Church in Ogden. In 1962, the couple moved to Des Moines where they established their home. Rosy was employed by Bankers Life in Des Moines, Brenton Bank in Urbandale, and later worked as a Legal Secretary at the Davis Law Firm in Des Moines until retiring in April of 2003.

Rosy was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling, Broadway shows, entertainment shows in Branson, Missouri, and craft shows.

Survivors include her husband, John Fosenburg Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, Garen Christensen and his companion, Sandra Wisecup of Ogden, Iowa; brother-in-law, Brian Savits of Urbandale, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Nancy Savits.

Memorials may be left to either: the Community United Methodist Church in Ogden or the Alzheimer's Association.
