Terry Moran

Terry Moran, 62, of Ogden, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at her home.

Terry's wishes were to be cremated. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the McGraw Center in Ogden. Terry was born on January 17, 1955, in the Stratford area, the daughter of Doran & Pauline Harris.

She grew up in Stratford and graduated from the Stratford High School in 1973. She married Jerry Moran on March 17, 1975. They have made Ogden their home for the past 42 years. Terry spent most of her working years at Woodward State Hospital, until her forced retirement because of health issues. She truly enjoyed working with the residents.

In healthier days, Terry enjoyed reading, watching movies, cross-stitch, visiting with friends, and going shopping. But what brought Terry the most joy in her life were her puppies! There was always a puppy in the Moran house. Some were big, some were small. Some were purchased, and some were rescued. All were truly loved.

Terry is survived by her husband; two sisters-in-law: Debbie (Dave) Holts of Ogden and Sandy (Bill) Johnson of Heath, TX; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
