Vickie Bordwell

Vickie Bordwell, 68, of Duncombe, Iowa, passed away on August 22, 2018, at the Clarion Wellness & Rehabilitation Center.



Visitation will be Sunday, August 26th, 2018, from 1:30PM - 3:30 PM, at First Baptist Church, 1210 Commercial Ave in Eagle Grove. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 PM, at Cass Township Cemetery, rural Webster City (D20 & White Fox Rd). Rev. Steve Swanholm will officiate. Victoria Delores Wilson was born on February 1, 1950, in Webster City, IA, the daughter of John Perry and Vesta Ruth (Segar) Wilson. She attended Webster City public schools.



On February 22, 1969, Vickie was united in marriage to Donald Bordwell Sr. The couple made their home in Webster City and were blessed with three sons, Donnie, Scott, and Terry. Vickie and Don later divorced. She was employed at Farm Journal in her earlier years.



Vickie had a strong Christian faith and was a former member of the Christian Life Center in Webster City. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.



Survivors include three sons, Donald Bordwell Jr. of Duncombe, IA, Scott Bordwell of Kansas City, MO, and Terry (Amanda) Bordwell of Webster City, IA; four grandchildren, Lindsay, Abbey, Destiny, and Mason Bordwell; three sisters, Beth (Weldon) Buhr of Eagle Grove, IA, Joan Wilson of Fort Dodge, IA, and Dusty Sanderson of Mohave Valley, AZ; one brother, John Perry Wilson Jr. of Sidney, MT; and several nieces & nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents, a nephew, Jonathan Winters, and a niece, Sandi Frakes.
